Junior World Canoe Polo Championships

Junior International Canoe Polo Championships are held at the Let’s Go Hydro Resort in Belfast and organised by Belfast Kayak Academy.  The Championships normally run every 2 years, with the next due in summer 2025.

The first Championship ran in the summer of 2017, again in 2019, but unfortunately with the COVID 19 pandemic,  the 2021 Championship was postponed to the summer of 2022.

The 2023 event welcomed 55 teams from 13 countries - all corners of the world.   The competition venue has been updated over the years with new cafes and restaurants and electronic scoring.

The countries participating in the 2023 competition were; Ireland, United Kingdom, France, Denmark, Austria, Australia, China, South Africa, Czech Republic, Germany, Sweden, Portugal and Lithuania.
